Cooptalis raises €20 million to expand its business in France and abroad
Cooptalis, a fast-growing company based in Marcq-en-Baroeul in the Hauts-France region, has just raised capital of €20 million from several renowned investors: Idinvest Partners, Entrepreneur Venture, CM-CIC Investissement, Finorpa and Groupe IRD. The capital was supplemented by a banking pool.
Created in 2012 by Gilles Lechantre and Olivier Desurmont, who were joined by Nicolas Bougon 2 years later, Cooptalis is an international mobility company. A leader in the French market, its goal is to become the world’s leading expert in international mobility. Cooptalis is now an international group with 450 employees in 6 countries and more than 25 million turnover in 2018.
Cooptalis helps companies source international talent and supports them in their professional mobility projects: from the job offer to the signing of the employment contract through to administrative procedures and logistics (finding accommodation, moving home, schooling, etc.), as well as training.
Winner of the French Tech Pass in 2017, Cooptalis has among its clients major companies, with whom it has worked on international recruitment projects.
Investors were attracted by the complementarity and efficiency of the founding team, as well as Cooptalis’ innovative positioning, which allowed it to generate more than 100% growth each year since its creation.
“Raising capital will allow Cooptalis to continue its growth in France and accelerate its international expansion. We also wish to pursue our external growth strategy, which started this year with the successful acquisition of Link Mobilité, one of France’s leading relocation experts.” say Gilles Lechantre and Olivier Desurmont, founders of Cooptalis.
“In a fast-growing sector and thanks to a driven, complementary and experienced team, growth prospects are high for this company with a robust business model and controlled growth. We are delighted to be able to support the company in this very exciting venture.” adds Alban Wyniecki, Investment Director at Idinvest.
Cooptalis was supported in raising capital by Capival (financial advice) and Lévêque Associés (legal advice).
